Two policemen arrested on drug charges in Narathiwat

An arrest was made in Narathiwat during a raid on Friday night by a combined force of 30 officers at a restaurant in Rueso district, owned by Pol Maj Praphan Intharachai of the Southern Border Provinces Police Operation Centre.
Rueso police station superintendent Dulyaman Yaena told the Bangkok Post Sunday the raid was launched following a year-long investigation which revealed Pol Maj Praphan was unusually wealthy and possibly involved with the illegal drugs trade.
